B.&S.U. Beratungs- und Service-Gesellschaft Umwelt mbH, Germany

B.&S.U. provides consulting services in regional, national and international funding programmes and initiates and develops projects in the areas of energy and environment, urban and regional planning, social management, promotion of SMEs and EU enlargement. B.&S.U. was founded in 1991 upon an initiative of the Senate of Berlin. From 1998 to 2002, B.&S.U. was a member of the Berlin Water Services Group. In December 2002, B.&S.U. became an independently operating company by way of a management buy-out. The company has 35 employees.

Zentrum für Umwelt und Energie (UTZ), Germany

The Zentrum für Umwelt und Energie (Environment and Energy Center) is a department of the Handwerkskammer Düsseldorf (Düsseldorf Chamber of Small Industries and Skilled Trades) which is a self-governing organization under public law and represents 46,000 companies with 340,000 employees situated in the governmental district of Düsseldorf. The Chambers task is to promote a strong and competitive small business and skilled trades sector by supporting its member enterprises in providing the following services: consultancy, training, and qualification.

Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP), Bulgaria

The Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP) is the first energy management agency established in Bulgaria under the SAVE II program of the European Commission (EC). It is now one of the few such agencies established in Central and Eastern Europe following the decision of the EC in 1999 to expand the program to our region of Europe. The EC and EAP's international partners consider EAP a huge success in the country and in the region since its inception in 2000. EAP is a member of the European Federation of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies (FEDARENE), and is a founder of the Association of Energy Agencies in Bulgaria.

National Chamber of Skilled Crafts - Bulgaria (NCSC - Bulgaria)

The National Craft Chamber is a Bulgarian artisans' organization and was founded on 14 December 2002 in Sofia on the grounds of Art. 28 and Art. 6, para 3 of Transitional and Concluding Provisions of the Crafts Act /prom. the Official Journal, issue No. 42/2001/. The Chamber comprises 25 regional craft guilds seated in the major district centres of the country as well as 4 national branch associations. Prior to the foundation of the National Craft Chamber, the latter's functions under the Crafts Act were carried out by the Bulgarian Craft Chamber, whose existence ceased with the association of the NCC.

Fundacion Asturiana de la Energia (FAEN), Spain

The Asturian Energy Foundation is the new Regional Energy Agency of the Principado of Asturias (Spain), which adopts the legal figure of Foundation and it is an entity without lucrative interest, with private nature and with its own legal personality and full capacity to work. FAEN's general aim and goal is to promote and develop activities related to research, technical development and training with interest for the energetic industry of Asturias, extending those acts to electricity, gas, renewable energies, oil and other energy sectors, energetic and financial markets, and also with other connected sectors, as deliverers and/or consumers.

National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), Greece

The University of Athens, Group Building Environmental Studies, has a broad research experience on the field of energy and environmental quality of buildings, passive cooling, rehabilitation of buildings, and energy and environmental quality in the urban environment. In particular, the University of Athens has carried out specific energy and environmental studies to characterise the dense urban environment of Athens.

Umwelt- und Transferzentrum der Handwerkskammer zu Leipzig (UTZ), Germany

The Chamber of Skilled Crafts Leipzig is a public corporation and responsible for approximately 11 000 small and medium-sized enterprises with about 88 000 employees in the county of Leipzig. The Environmental and Transfer Centre (UTZ) is a department of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts Leipzig and was established in 1995. It is one of ten Environmental Centres of the Skilled Crafts in Germany. In the field of environmental protection the UTZ is the training, consulting and information point for craftsmen.

Tipperary Energy Agency (TEA), Ireland

The TEA was initially established under the EU SAVE programme in March 1998. The mission of the Agency is to develop, promote and provide appropriate energy services to all sectors of Co. Tipperary and beyond with the aim of promoting, developing and implementing best practice and energy policy. In doing so, it will assist in limiting greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to sustainable development.

The Meat industries Research Association of the Principado de Asturias (A.I.I.C.P.A)

The A.I.I.C.P.A. is a non profit organization formed by meat companies developing their activities in the Asturias region. From the beginning, the Association’s main target has been to increase the associates’ competitiveness supporting them with research and technological development.

The activities in which the Association is currently involve are, basically,Training, Advise Services, Laboratory analysis for quality control and Research Projects.
